" Embrace Being Free, Clear, And Natural"

Women have worn make-up for many years. For various reason wearing make-up has become a part of a daily routine. Some women do not feel complete unless they have their face on. Some want to possibly cover blemishes. Or just need a little extra glow for a special occasion. As adult women we all have our own reasons in how much or how little we wear. With the media and the constant commercials for even flawless skin. Our young ladies want to wear make-up much earlier. The peer pressure of that friend that may can wear make sooner, has our young ladies insecure about the skin they are in. So what do you do? Until a decision is made on the appropriate time. Teach our young ladies the beauty of their own skin. There are so many influences and challenges they face day to day. Don't allow them to not see the greatness in their skin. When they are comfortable with who they are they want need the validation from peers on who they should be. Freedom in their natural look, will help them to realize that make-up don't make them, they make the makeup. Teach them that the foundation that they need to apply each day is "SELF LOVE". Loving every part of you will glow brighter than anything you can find on a shelf.

    1. I have boys too, I try to show them the importance of walking in their skin, I noticed with my 7yr old he want what others got, and it bothers him that he is tall and skinny. I am truly learning a lot with boy and girls in the house. lol

    1. I am 33 and only started wearing light make up this year and it has only been three times. I can say the more light and airy looks are amazing because they look natural

  6. Yes!! This is something that needs to be taught to every young girl. They are beautiful because of who they are not how they look! Teaching them this will help so much with their self esteem, it will be based on themselves not their looks!

    1. I agree Self esteem is one thing that we really have to teach young girls, because the higher self esteem the least chances they have to be influenced by peer pressure.

  9. I'm finding as I grow older, I am more self-confident and therefore I am more comfortable just showing who I am - all of me. It's liberating and one of the biggest things I wish I could go back and tell my younger self.

  11. My little one sees me putting on makeup before work sometimes and I always tell her that I don't want to wear makeup but I have to for work. I usually don't put makeup other than when I go in for a shift. I always make sure to let her know she is beautiful just the way she is.
